With a background rich in calligraphy, painting, and traditional Chinese studies, Zhang Yaozhi began his formal apprenticeship under the esteemed Master Zhang Tingjin. After a decade of meticulous dedication and refinement, he has truly come into his own, demonstrating a profound understanding of traditional teapot making. His talent was notably recognized when his “Niu Gai Jin Wen Hu” (Ox Lid Ribbed Teapot) achieved 15,000 RMB at a Chinese auction in 2022, solidifying his reputation as a shining example among Yixing’s new generation of artists. Each “Rui He Shuo” teapot is personally handcrafted by Zhang Yaozhi, and we offer a unique verification video featuring the artist in his studio, confirming the authenticity and craftsmanship of your exquisite piece.
