A tall De Zhong teapot with a quiet, sculptural presence, this piece pairs a geometric meander band with carved lotus petals. Its dark, textured surface catches silvery grey highlights, while the lotus-patterned lid continues the decoration around a small curved knob.

Made from iron-rich clay and wood fired, it carries natural ash deposits and individual firing marks. The approximately 135ml capacity gives it a compact place on the tea table, where its upright form and richly worked surface invite a closer look.
