Soft ivory glaze is traced with honey-toned amber streaks across this ceramic gaiwan and its domed lid. The kiln-transformed finish gives the surface gentle variation, while the low bowl and broad, flared rim create a compact silhouette on the tea table.

Made in China with a stated capacity of 100ml, it suits small gongfu tea sessions. The gaiwan measures 10.3cm in length and 6.7cm in height, with a raised lid knob and a small foot that echo its rounded form. Glaze patterns and colour may vary between pieces.
