Huang Shan is home to the most famous Chinese teas – Huang Shan Mao Feng, Keemun and Tai Ping Hou Kui. As natives of this breathtaking place, we have a deep connection to the land and its rich tea heritage.

This is a 40ml hexagonal tea cup, but it carries the feeling of something much older—almost like it stepped out of another era.
On paper, nothing here sounds flashy.
A small cup.
A classic six-sided form.
Traditional scrolling floral motifs.
But when these elements come together—paired with a Yuan–Ming style glaze that has real age and depth—the contrast becomes striking. The cup feels both small and ancient at the same time, which is incredibly hard to achieve.
The blue-and-white decoration uses a Ming-style cobalt, known for its natural variation and soft bleeding. Combined with the old-style glaze, the surface carries a quiet, time-worn character that modern pieces rarely capture.
This was not an easy project.
A 40ml hexagonal cup is already challenging.
Using Ming-style blue, aged glaze, and open-panel decoration together was a real risk.
